I have a slight problem with some of the files on my R3 and my R6. When I export to Lightroom I usually convert to DNG but Lightroom won't read all of the files, there is usually a handful that it can't read and says they're damaged. It seems Canon DPP also has the same problem. DPP will load but won't read them and can still export the files as TIFFs correctly, which is strange, so I do have a workaround. I didn't experience similar problems with my 1DX mkII.
I'm using Sandisk extreme 150mb/s SD cards and Ultima Pro 1600mb/s CF express. It doesn't seem to be the rate of the shutter as it occurs in single-shot mode as well, all saved as RAW files.
Has anyone else experienced a similar problem?

Never experienced an issue converting my 5d4 files to DNG.
How recently did you download a new copy of the adobe DNG converter? One guess would be there is a bug with some of the metadata and they patched it on a new version of the DNG software. I am guessing your using an older version of LR / PS if your converting to DNG so thats where i wondered how recently you updated to the newest Adobe DNG converter.

I have the Creative Cloud version of Lightroom and the RAW file converter is up-to-date. I should have said I convert to CR3 files, not DNG and I have had the same issue since I bought the R6 over 18 months ago so it is not a new phenomenon. It's only since I went mirrorless that I have experienced this.

Actually I am not sure what is being converted now, all recent cameras from canon shoot CR3 in camera, that includes the mirrorless R series as well as DSLR as old as my 5d4. CR2 was replaced by CR3, converting to adobe raw (DNG made sense to me)..

In any event, the point I made is depending on the camera you may have to update the versions of software to avoid a bug. Adobe and Canon both have to update the software and their RAW support each time they add new cameras. They may have had a bug fix a a second release after the cameras came out. If adobe CC is fully up to date it should read CR3 straight from camera no converting.
