Yesterday I was taking photos with my camera when i noticed that the photo had black area around the subject and flashed on and off. When downloading them to Photoshop the black backgrounds etc were not present. Any idea what may have caused this with these photos. Rodney
i noticed on my rp when taking a shot it shows in the viewfinder for a few seconds is there a way to disable this?
Are you referring to the Overexposure/highlight alert? https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/index?page=content&id=ART177891
No I turned that off what happens you take the shot it stays in the v/finer for a couple of seconds before you see live image
Thanks explains it i was shooting a home which was white on a very sunny day. Thanks for the quick reply.
kevin, going by the M50 what you want to look for is "image review" in the shooting menus, these are the first set of menus on the M50 and they may be the same on yours, but switching the "image review" to off will stop the taken image hanging in the screen / evf after the shot. found it for you here at 17:26 as expected its menu 1, 3rd down
