I switched my camera from auto-exposure to lock exposure by selecting M Func =/- * and the exposure was locked. Now I can't unlock the exposure by pressing * It is permanently locked.

So your saying the * showed up on screen and it will not go away in the viewfinder if you press star again?
Also which camera are you using?

The camcorder is XF405 I switch to M manualy, touch FUNC on the screen, then touch +/- then touch the star on the bottom right of the screen. Touching star again should cancel lock-exposure, but it doesn't.

Yeah I would imagine it to function similarly to the DSLRs but I don't have any experience with the XF camcorders so maybe someone can jump inn who has used them and may have some insight.

The problem has now cured itself! I don't know why? But good. Thanks for your reply.
