This month's photo topic is "Fruit and Veg" ...simple subject to start the year off, also one for those of us that cant or dont want to get out in the cold.

    Happy shooting!
    Again, the rules are simple:

Should be be using some canon gear , this is a canon forum after all.
Shot with the assignment in mind, go out and shoot something new don't dig up something from the archives.
    and most importantly have fun.

Caladina, congratulations, you've taken a great photograph. I think that instead of food photography it's more like a surrealist photo.

This does stimulate the grey matter, it beats my idea of a few veggies in a bowl.

I was thinking of Water, such as creeks, rivers and ponds or for those who don't want to venture outside maybe a fishtank or indoor water display.
Option 2 reflections, I know we have done this one but it is a new year so it should be on the board.

How far back do you want to go, I am rebuilding a 115 year old 8 * 10 inch Century field camera, new bellows are almost compleated. Or say from the 50s onward. Most of my film gear is from the 70s to 30 years ago.

something i wanted to do if people like it is to play to our regular posters strengths for some of the subjects, like vintage or older gear, see if we can drum up a bit more interest in the monthly challenge
yeah, vintage / old etc probably anything from the 1999 and older really

i also like the reflections and water so its up to you guys too which way we go for feb,
