    Canon eos-r with 24-105mm kit lens
    Why does the EOS R have to have a delay of 4 seconds while doing star trails before taking the next image. Anything lower the image is not finished and the next image is put on the previous attempt, In a series of 10 images I get none but going to 4 seconds is fine, you would think a new camera would be faster. What settings would you put on a intervalometer to achieve a quality image.

    Maybe this could be your issue, you should be able to take 30 sec exposures on continuous/bulb using an intervalometer.
