Hello, I was looking to purchase an eternal flash to mount on my Canon t5i and I was not sure what to get. Right now I have the EF-S 18-55 lense right now. Price is not a problem just don't want to spend over 200$. I need something that can be adjusted and hold a charge for a long but is the top-rated and best one for this camera. Is there any way you can give me a suggestion on which I should get?
    Thanks
    Justin

3rd Party suggestion: Yongnuo makes some nice options that can be grabbed for 80-100 and have TTL and HSS (560 series comes to mind) Read up on those.
Canon: Given the model you have is not brand new, I would recommend the 430ex II, its been replaced by the III model, so you should be able to grab a 430ex2 for very reason able price off the used market, same goes for my trusty 580ex2's honestly.
There is a 470ex AI out of that price range, its newer but has technology to remember where you place the head for bounce flash and adjust as you move around with the camera. I still want to grab one of them.. :)
