Just bought an R50 with 2 lenses. An RF 18 to 45mm and RF 55 to 210mm.
There replacing the EF 28 to 135mm lens I used on my 7D that's going up for sale.
The 2 RF lenses fulfill the range of the EF lens but I'm wonder if I should keep it.
Whats your take on this? Do I need the EF lens for any good reason other then a spare. I do have the adapter if I do. If not it's going up for sale with the 7D sale..

    Thanks

i have the M50 though its not the R50 you have i did have the same two kit lenses, the 15-45 and 55-200mm, i found the 18-150mm much better in use than the two as its around the 50mm mark where you need to keep changing between the two

so my question is, have you considered replacing all three lenses with the RF 18-150mm?

though i do also have many other lenses including the 100-400mm sigma so the loss of 50mm over the slightly longer kit lens wasn't a big deal,

I don't think your gaining much saving the 28-135, it is however a slight bit faster than the lenses you have picked up for the RF. I say shoot with the 2 you picked up till you decide what you really feel you need out of your next lens purchase.
Unless you really like shooting with the lens on the r50 already you may as well recoup some cost here, imho, i think there are several models but generally the seem to be holding a reasonable value on the floor used. That said you can always sell the ef lens later on ebay if your not using it, they dont need to be sold as a bundle and probably will make more money split up.

I dunno if you plan to get a a full frame but those new lenses are RF-s and will be only be able to be used cropped image if you upgrade. Depending on long term plans this is one of handful of things I would consider in lens purchases.
