Trying to connect my iPhone 11 Pro to my Canon EOSD mk IV by means of NFC. When holding the iPhone close to the NFC sign on the camera I get the message that a NFC sign is registered but no useable data is found. what can be wrong

I'm not sure what you are trying to do exactly and what process you are following but if you look here: http://gdlp01.c-wss.com/gds/0/0300024970/01/eos5d-mk4-im-en.pdf in your manual on p635 you should be completing the connection using the camera connect app on your phone and then you can use the app as a remote control for the camera.

Thank you. My local Canon support informed me that NFC is not working with iPhone since it is used for payments. Instead it is now working with a WiFi hotspot from camera
