I like to take photos of my kids while recording a video of them playing. I am sure that I could do this with my 6D. I thought I could do this with my very new R8. If I select 'Shutter button function for movies', one of the options is 'Meter. +One-Shot AF'. Surely that means that if I half press the shutter button while recording a movie, the camera will reset the metering AND take a single shot with autofocussing. I can't any comprehensible explanation anywhere but it seems not to work, for me at least. Any idea?
