    Hi,

I´m planning to buy my fist L lens to the kit - the RF 100 mm f/2,8 L Macro and I´m wondering how reliable the weather sealing is because so far I haven´t been able to find more specific information about what it can survive without any significant risk.

Obviously, I don´t ever want to use it during heavy rain or pouring water on it :) but is it safe to take it out during light / moderate rain to make a few shots? (central European weather conditions). I have the EOS R (2018) body and I read quite a thorough article that it can withstand some time even in heavy rain, so I hope the lens can do the same...

The "worst case scenario" I can think of in my case would be just a few minutes in rain, then quickly dry it and back to the bag :)

    Thanks
    Jakub
