EOS Rebel T7: Is there a way or mode that allows me to set or change one or all of settings for ISO, shutter speed, f-stop, and exposure compensation at one time? I'm used to Minolta 35mm film cameras and for most occasions the standard mode settings on the Canon are just fine to use. But, I do some sport shooting in changing lighting conditions and need or like to be able to change several settings at one time. So far I have not been able to do so and the User Manual tends to be confusing, to me, at times. Any suggestions or did I pick the wrong camera?
Able to change multiple settings at the same time, this implies different dials to change each setting. So I assume you want to shoot in manual mode. This is the same no matter the film camera or DSLR. Update any setting on your camera, ISO for example since you mentioned it, you will see the camera meter give you different output for the rest of the settings. Cameras for decades have AUTO, Shutter priority, aperture priority or manual modes. The middle two in film cosued on giving control to 1 main priority and automating the rest. Manual gives you a dial for both the shutter and aperature so you can quickly fine tune your exposure, this would be the same no matter the camera as long as you can shoot manual. This camera works no different than your minolta film camera in that regard I assume since it sounds like you had a fully manual camera. https://gdlp01.c-wss.com/gds/0/0300029810/01/eos-rebelt7-1500d-im-en.pdf (PAGE 113 in your manual)
