Over the last few days I noticed my Canon SX430 IS seemed to be having issues taking a clear photo when using the zoom. I was having trouble getting the camera to focus. Then yesterday it started to rapidly get progressively worse. Now when I zoom past a certain point I get a photo that looks like white light. It seems to be just around the half way point of the 45x zoom that it produces this bright white image. It's as if I took a photo of a very bright light bulb. Sometimes you can just barely make out part of the image, like in this photo I tried to take of some cows. Other times the entire photo is white.

The screen looks fine when taking a picture. It's just when I look back at the photo I've taken that I see this white image. The shutter button doesn't make a clicking sound when taking these photos.

It still records video perfectly when zooming.
