with regards to the wildlife i'm using a sigma 100-400mm c which new is around £600 and probably cheaper from mpb etc i do also have the sigma...
not sure if it will help but on my macbook i sometimes get the odd command that doesnt work, nothing in the settings but restarting the macbook...
normal its possible ( i dont have either lens or camera) that the firmware may not be 100% compatible you'll want to find out if the lens is...
nope, its not that, its the fact you not adapting a lens you are using the same mount to mount there are however lenses that have the drop in...
the problem with making an adapter with drop in filters for a like to like system mount, ie, ef-ef and efr-efr is you will be extending the lens...

i been using my M50 for 5 years now, it was only supposed to be my entry level camera, got it mostly for wildlife, but also do everything else...
this thread is more canon ef-m lenses only you should repost them in the regular photos pages i have the M50 myself and some great macro lenses i...
