I am not an expert but my guess is the time/date battery is going south, its a different battery than the usual rechargeable battery.
[ATTACH] In just a few seconds they formed an almost perfect "Z".
The first pic seems over exposed especially in the background lit areas, the second looks great to me wonderful composition there.
Nicely done.
I use an Epson V700, a great flatbed, however, a chimp can do better at post-processing than I.
I like a soft look for portraits myself, very nice work. May I ask...what do you use to digitize your films?
